Planned Giving

Many of our supporters choose to support our future through planned gifts. Unlike cash donations, planned gifts are typically made from assets in your estate rather than from disposable income, and may come to fruition after your lifetime. Even people of modest means can make a difference in the lives of children by planning a gift.

Whether you would like to put your donation to work today or benefit us after your lifetime, we can help you find a charitable plan that meets your goals. With your help, we can continue to make children healthier and happier by giving families a home away from home.

The purpose of planned giving to RMHSNJ is to strengthen the mission with giving opportunities. Ronald McDonald House Southern New Jersey is 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization – Tax ID #22-2430393. We have been serving children with critical illness or injury since 1983. As long as there is a need in our community, the strength, stability, and continuity of service RMHSNJ provides, must be maintained for future generations.

There are many forms of planned gifts. Often a planned gift can help you make a more significant gift than you might have otherwise imagined- without sacrificing income or security for your own family.

A bequest in your will or a living trust allows you take care of loved ones first and make a remarkable difference in the lives of others.

Naming us among the beneficiaries of your retirement plan can help your heirs avoid double taxation while sharing your generosity with our families as well.

The gift of life insurance transforms a modest investment into a much larger benefit – both for you and for the families we serve.

Tribute & Memorial Gifts

Many families request that memorial gifts be made to the Ronald McDonald House Southern New Jersey in lieu of flowers.  A memorial gift is a way to remember a special person while at the same time helping others. Your gift provides critical funds to allow our house to provide a “home away from home” for families who are attending to their seriously ill or injured child.

We will send an acknowledgment card to the honoree or designated family member notifying them of your donation in their honor without the gift amount.
